It does look under the weather. Leaves are curled and drooping. It looks like the ground is wet, though. It may be different on the East, but in Calif., they bloom with full leaves. I have some now, but then it didn't snow here!

I would test the soil. It sounds like maybe you are new to the house? The leaves are dark green, but there may be other deficiencies besides nitrogen.
You can get a soil testing kit in a hardware store. they are inexpensive. Then you just apply what is missing to the soil. Coffee grounds are a good way to decrease pH if alkaline.

Also check the leaves, bark & ground for signs of insects. Can check roots for rot.
