i tested valve works fine i forced cycle unit and all mechanical parts work ,put water in manually and froze and emptied during forced cycle just not refilling with water ?help

Sounds like the ice maker thermostat is defective. It's what controls when the harvest initiates and when the refill occurs. It's item #16 on the link below.

The microswitch that gets operated by the harvest arm is also suspect so check it before doing anything else. It's item #12 in that link.
