i'm a 33 year old architect in Charleton, SC working on my grandmothers 50 year old all masonry house while saving up for our our own home. when i say its all masonry i mean exterior walls and interior walls. it sometimes takes a hammer drill, a 1/2" bit and 30 minutes out of my day just to hang a picture on the wall
i know just enough about what it takes to actually do all of the work to get into trouble. being an architect i draw the details all day long on big projects but i'm just now practicing to see what it actually takes to get the job done. currently i'm debating wether its worth it to enlarge an existing junction box that is grouted in, so i can install GFCI's in the bathroom.
