One of the cover screws in my junction box has broken inside the thread and can't get it out.

Are there any other options of getting the cover plate onto the junction box?

For a quick fix I can sometimes get an 8/32 screw to tap in a plastic or fiberglass box. If it's metal I'll use an 8/32 tap first. Again this a quick/temp fix.

I was able to remove some broken off small screws with theMicro Grabit Screw Extractor kit. I was amazed at how well it worked, actually.
