What does this jumper do
as far as delay/normal on the Goodman/amana aph1560 heat pump defrost board .
What should I see it do on each jumper setting ?
Any info is appreciated

the board monitors the defrost thermostat and whenever it's at or below freezing, the thermostat is closed and the timer accumulates run-time.

The jumper setting determines how much run-time with the coil cold enough has to accumulate before it goes into defrost.

Should be a soft defrost jumper.

In delay, the compressor should stop running, then about 30 seconds later. The RV is energized and the compressor restarts shortly after that. Repeat for when it comes out of defrost.

Norm, would be the RV switching while the compressor runs like most other heat pumps do.
