We are installing a new range hood and I can't seem to find a proper way to do this. The range hood is a recirculating type with a standard NEMA plug. Our old hood was hard wired. Would it be within code to place a single outlet receptacle in the ceiling(where the wire is coming out). The receptacle will have the range hood brackets and cover around it. The outlet will still be accessible if we loosen the cover and let it slide down. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!
