ok. I have two:

1. First, a lot of my sprinkler heads are not spraying evenly bc they were installed crooked. in order to fix these, I am going to have to dig out dirt around the body of the spray head, then level them by placing sand around the body until the cap is level. Is there a better way to do this?

2. When the irrigation system was running at 5am, my truck went off the driveway just enough to break off the riser. Is there anything special about pulling off and out the body and re-installing a new one?

Note, I will take the old one w mean and the riser/spray head so I make sure I get the exact replacement.

Thank you very much,
tstex

1) also check and make sure head is free of sediment. Some vinegar and water or clr should help.

2) make sure they are no retainer clips that can prevent them from coming off. Pretty straight forward, instructions will be right on package.

You are welcome.

Yes, sometimes they can get clogged up with sediment and effect the spray pattern. I don't know what type of nozzel head you have. A picture would help.

The one I'm thinking of is the type that unscrews or has a retainer clip for easy removal and cleaning.
