I got a roofing quote and am just wondering what would be the ratio of costs for Shingles and other materials?

Here other materials include edge, nails, selants, vent, flashings, ice & waters, and cap shingles. My house does not have hips.

The cost for Shingles is $2300, and the others ~$1600.

Any advice?

Several measured the size is 23 sq; basically two parts: garage 22' * 24'; main: 24' * 32', with a 7' * 15' roof (for stairs in the front - do not know how to call that; this one leads some valley I think). The normal slope 5/12.

A lot depends on amount of ice&water and the brad. Type of ridge vent, underlayments, how much aluminum, etc.
