I have a laminate floor to do at a family members house and it's about an hour drive. Don't really want to take my miter saw and table saw. Saw this flooring saw the other day at the box store and thinking about picking one up. It's small and says it does crosscut and rips. Looks like it would be perfect as long as it works OK. I know some all in one type tools are junk. So just wondering if anyone has experience with one of these? I know a few different brands make them.

Oddly enough just this morning I took an hour's drive (that turned into two hours due to rt 95 south being closed due to accident a mile before my exit!!!!!) to do a twelve bye fifteen Pergo floor for daughter's boyfriend. My compound sliding miter was already there
.....and he has a table saw...so I hauled zero tools....but having done a dozen or so rooms in the last year my only long rips were at an end where it is buried by molding anyway...so could be just cut with jig saw. Ron

I looked at those --I believe it will do what you want---but 140.00 for a one time use might not be the best idea---

I've installed laminate using a wood cutting box for cross cuts using a skill saw--

That material ruins blades, so I avoid using my miter saw---the big blades are expensive to replace--so I kill a 7 1/4" blade instead.
