Got 2 rolls of Phifer Super Solar screen for my screened-in patio project. 25'x48"...but this roll is about 11" short. Better than the roll I returned, which was almost 20" short. I might be able to S T R E T C H this one out since I have a few inches to work with. I may just buy a 48"x84" roll and cut off what didn't make it from the big roll and return that...

Now I need to find screen frame that's 76" and 75" and 73" - yeah, custom cuts, but I can only find 72". The 84" is out of stock everywhere.

Oh, and yes - I tacked and test-fitted the top over the rail and it does cut a lot of the heat and light. Well worth the price over regular or similar screen.

Sounds like you got an open roll return. Some probably bought a roll, made one screen, wrapped it to look like it was never open, then returned the roll.

If anything, it should be a an inch or two over on the length.

Yep, you got taken. Even a piece of lumber will be the length that it claims to be! I'd return it and demand a piece that meets the dimension that you need.

Actually, I meant the width. Home Depot lumber comes up short, though.

Not where I live as most lumber is a commodity now and is bought by lumber yards from the mills with the best price.
Your screen needs to go back. It is not supposed to be short!
