I am running out of room on the garage walls.


I am toying with the idea of mounting a parts organizer on a metal cabinet door. Bad idea?

I understand that if I were to swing the door open then stop it suddenly there is a chance the parts drawers may fall out. Other than that, what are other issues I may run into?

If we google - cabinet door tool storage - we can see ideas that have been around for , well, a long time. One must judge the cabinet door hinge to weight ratio for longevity I suppose. As an example some doors may tolerate storage of zip ties while others may tolerate pipe wrenches.
