In the photo above i connected the hot wire on the 2nd spot with bridge to the 3rd. But if i touch the 1st spot with the neutral it short circuits and with the 4th nothin happens.
My guess is
1- neutral
2- Line
3- bridge
4- ground (ground it with the green screw on bottom)
So 1 to 2 is a dead short? sounds defective. Did you have any other wires connected when it shorted out?
4 is not ground, it's the switched Hot that goes to the load.
