I picked up a door from salvage that is without hardware. Mounted fine but trouble finding kno accessories to fit. The distance is 2 3/4 but the indentation for a plate is 3 inch. Most sets are smaller. Pic attached.

Looks like you need to drill a 2 1/8" hole at the 2 3/4" backset.
