I'm not sure how many of you have old houses or are into the whole architectural aspect of things, but thought I'd pass along a good link on how an old brownstone was preserved. Anyone else trying to bring an old house back to life? Would love to see pictures.

Thanks for the interesting link Allison. My cottage is about 3 or 4 hundred years old, nobody round here seems sure. I've been working on it for about 8 years on and off and at the moment am extending an extension that was done in the 70's. I am about to put a pitched roof over the old and new extension with slate covering.

Thanks for giving inspiration to other members. I will certainly like to know more about how an old structure can be preserve for more hundreds of years.
