Insulation question 90plus

739 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Chricrockett
In Chicago land area can American standard 90plus direct vent furnace be vented whereas the outlet and the inlet are separated? The inlet is 12" from the ground and the outlet is going up to the roof line about 25'. When I read the PMI it reads that the inlet and outlet has to be in the same pressure zone. There is no way this is the same pressure zone. Can this unit be install in this matter.

Not advisable. Also, the inlet should be 12" above normal snow fall accumulation level for your area.
Thanks I new I was right. I might not know everything about furnaces but I do know how to read.
