Installing a garage door on a shop

The reason why we are converting a shop into a garage is because we dont have a garage. my hubby's projects consist mainly of automotive projects and we need the space to park our drag cars. we bought our place knowing that it was what we wanted to do. we were storing them at my parents' barn but they know have accepted an offer on their place so we need to put the wheels in motion. just wondering if anyone has done a similar project and how much they think it would cost to take down a wall, add a beam, and install the door.

ok thanks. i was just wondeirng pricewise how much the materials are. it will definitely not be done by a contractor my hubby wants to d it himself for sure.
