I am installing a corner shower stall (neo-angle door), my base is very slightly off level, how should I fix this? Or can I ignore this?

Also, my base doesn't meet the walls (there is about 1/2 inch between the drywall that is already there and the base) can I put pieces of wood in there to frame the corner instead of moving the base and all the plumbing?

Can I drill screws into the vinyl sides that are supposed to be glued to the wall as well as use adhesive on the pieces of wood that I will put up?

Does the vinyl sides cover the inside of the base?

The base should be as level as you can make it. The suround walls have to completely overlap the base flange. The walls should be furred out to meet the base. If you have the adhesive type walls, the proper way to do this would be to tear out the old drywall and fur out your wall studs. It usually works best to sister boards alongside the existing studs out to meet your new wall requirements. Then you will need to reinstall new drywall or preferably backer board. The direct-to-stud walls for this type of shower would save you the step of reinstalling new wall material.

Any holes you put in the shower wall need to be sealed with silicone caulk.

I considered one of those neo angle showers but did not have quite enough wall space without moving the window. Glad I opted for the tub as it turns out.
