I want to install an insta-hot onto the tub sink we put in at our lake slip. I'm wondering if we have to use the faucet that comes with the insta-hot or can we use the faucet that comes with the sink?

Any Tips or tricks to this?

No tips

No tips or tricks to it I installed several of these just follow directions step by step.

Use all the parts that came with it.

If you have to drill holes or run pipe to it do it.

The faucet that came with the sink is for that use.

Our sink at the lake slip is hooked up to the water hose so it only has cold water coming to it. I was wondering if we could use this Insta-hot to hook up the hot water side of the faucet. I didnt want to use the insta-hot faucet unless there is no other way to hook it up.

I do not see a mechanical issue with hooking the insta-hot to the hot side of the hot water faucet, but I would be very concerned of a safety issue. The water from the insta-hot is much hotter than normal hot tap water (used to make tea or instant coffee); a person that is not aware could be scalded by running the hot to wash his hands.

listen to me don't do it.

You shall not hook it up to the sink faucet you have been told now for
the second time..............................................

PS Just install the smallest point of use hot water heater you can find.
