I mean that a condo built/wired for a tank type heater which uses 25 amps (5.6 KW) and a whole house tankless can be as much as 75 amps (18KW).

He never said it was an electric tankless. All the good gas modulating ones require 120V for blowers and such.

Why do they question a simple 120 v receptacle out of all the ones in the house. I believe it is an electric hog.

I agree, but it was not stated. Possible there was no power close enough.
