Hello,

We just rented the Imer 250v. I have never used at wet saw, and the manual is very vague. Do I just lay the water pump in the water tray?

Thanks.

I have not used that perticular saw, but others I have used - yes, the pump lays in the tray with the hose of course running up to the blade. Water showers over the blade and cut area and falls back into the tray. Watch the sludge as the water gets dirtied as it can clog the input screen to the pump.

Here's the manual - but agreed, it does not show the pump well.

I'm not familiar with that saw either--I suggest you spend a couple of minutes and check the tool with a square --rental equipment (and anything portable) should be checked before you trust it to make a proper cut.---Mike--
