Just bought two new bathroom from IKEA. The faucets came with two hoses already attached. The problem is that the hoses don't match the size of my angle stops. This was the only size they had and I really would like to keep the faucets. Don't really want to replace the angle stops. Is there some sort of converter or some connectors? Thank you all in advance!!

There are all sorts of brass adapters available---Bring the faucet to the store with you---grab a shut off of the same size as yours and start looking in the bins.

sometimes we can't always have exactly what we want....some of those faucets are imported....which have odd sizes..if you do find an adapter it may work for awhile...never seen anything good come from ikea in the way of plumbing.....sorry...ben sr

Ditto what Ben said. Even if you do get them installed and working properly, you won't be able to get any replacement parts when you eventually need them. Do yourself a favor: return those and get something good like Moen, Kohler, Grohe etc.. You're not saving yourself any money (in the long run) by buying Ikea faucets.

Looking at a couple of the assembly instructions, those are 3/8" ends on the hoses. The OP needs to replace their shut-offs, since they most likely were wrong to begin with, or were not for compression type fittings. suggest grabbing a couple of 1/4 turn Ball valve Shark-Bite shut-offs.

Reinforcing what others have said already : There are two things you DON'T want to do. I suggest you do them both. Most faucet supplies that come attached to the faucet are of the 3/8 compression variety. Do yourself a favor and change the angle stops.

Those IKEA faucets are not going to do you any favors down the road. Get a good name brand faucet, and you'll be much happier with it.
