We have a spice cabinet that could benefit from one extra shelf. I have no idea where to get a matching shelf - do I have to make one myself or are there places I can go to or purchase online? I'm not entirely sure if they are a custom size...Any recommendations?

Search Google using words: replacement cabinet shelves

The S&H is going to kill you.

Both Lowes and Home Depot have some listed.

A local cabinet shop would be your best option.

Purchase the smallest piece of 3/4" birch or luan plywood you can get.
Purchase small amount of 3/4" iron on edge banding.

Cut to match existing shelf.
Iron on edge banding with wife's clothes iron. Trim edges of edge banding with sharp utility knife using surface of shelf as a guide. Sand edges of edge banding slightly.

Spray with a couple light coats of semi gloss lacquer.

Install.

Cost minimal, labor minimal.
