ice maker connection

I've sucessfully hooked up new fridge to water line with no issues- Once it's screwed in- is there anything else i can put on the connector at the fridge to insure it does not leak/pop out? I keep having nightmares of something popping off and a flood in the kitchen!

Did you use thread seal on it?

There are little pucks that you can buy that detect water and left off a siren when they do.
Put one on the floor behind the fridge to ease your mind.
