I have an old house with two lead wire. A bathroom with no outlet I want to add one. There is a light and light switch. How can I add the outlet with out running new wire? Or can I? Also I want the outlet to have power constantly.

By code you can not extend an ungrounded circuit, so you can't add a receptacle. Additionally there may not be a neutral in the switch box.

Bathroom receptacle also must be 20 amp.

As the other two have said, there are code rules that would rule out not having to run a new circuit and wiring.

Do you have access to below or above the bathrooom? Maybe you could snake a new wire into the wall.
