I need help with switch controlled outlet

want to install overhead light and have outlet controlled by switch I want to make hot so I can use the switch to power overhead light.

Switch has 3 wires - black white and ground
Outlet has 3 black wired together and 3 white attached to 3 pole screws.

Have not seen that configuration at an outlet before?

Any ideas?
