My goal was to connect a 6" duct line into an exiting 8". The 6" is from my Primary Gas Furnace and the 8" comes from my addon wood unit, the air flow coming from the 6" line is great, but after I connect it through the wye, the flow is reduced to almost nothing. I disconnected a section of pipe leaving the wye and it feels like the air hits the wye and kinda stops moving... I'm real confused, looking at it I can't figure out what is causing the air flow to stop. Any thoughts?
