We change the prefilter regularly but my hair is still orange and the white fixtures in the house have to be scrubed every other day or they are orange also The Pelican manuel that came with the system is not very helpful doesn't anyone else have this problem with the pelican? we do have iron in our water but this system is supposed to take care of that it did the first two years

Are you using salt with the softner that is meant for dealing with the iron? I'm not familiar with your products/brands - just asking. cheers!
