My kitchen faucet it leaking under the counter and seems to be coming out the center hole then running down the sprayer hose. There is also a dripping sound in the drain after I've use the water that lasts for a long time. The leaking subsides when the water is not being used.

I've replaced faucets before, and it's not really that hard, but I'm having the devil of a time trying to figure out how to remove this one. I cannot find any mounting nuts. I'm going to try to post a link/picture.

It's a single lever faucet... Peerless, I think.

Humm... I'm looking at a left and right nut bolt in that picture... Perhaps those be the ones.

Yep the clamps are the two nuts with wings on the left and right holes.

Thank you! I had made an attempt to remove them, but it was far too difficult to get a grip on them with pliers and since they were half-way down the bolt I didn't think it could be what was holding the whole thing in. I see it now though, so thank you.

Of course, it has now stopped leaking...

Isn't there a threaded brass nut on the center stud?

Thats a moen single handle with a side mount spray kitchen.

If that's a Moen, I'm surprised you have issues. Every one I've installed was the last one needed and Moen is the only one I buy. While the this may not be worth the effort especially if the finish suffered the wear and tear of time, Moen guarantees internals for life and provides replacement. The last ones I installed came with a sticker with model number that I stuck on the back wall under the sink.

We can only imagine how much time and frustration would have been saved if a couple of minutes had been devoted to applying a dab of grease to some fitting threads and bolt threads.

Yep, it may seem good things take too much time at the moment but usually save much more time and frustration in the end.

nearly all people just cannot fathom how correct you are. i use white grease.
