I dream big, but don't have all the skills I need. My most recently exploration was to help a friend take down her shower door. We planned on taking it out as well as her medicine cabinet. No problem with the medicine cabinet as we simply replaced it with a flat mirror.
Main issue is the shower which I posted about. While doing all this, I am still trying to convince my mom to let me paint her kitchen cabinets (took me years to talk her into letting me take off the fake brick back splash), to convince her to let me refinish her hardwood floors, rip out her basement wood paneling (or at least paint it)... oh yeah and save up to eventually retile my master bathroom which is huge!
I have some skills and love hard work, but am totally not a small detail person (I hate taping and cutting in)
