Im replacing my blower motor on my furnace and the new motor has a few diffrent color wires then the old one. Ex: there is only one brown wire so what other wire goes to the capacitor? also it has an orange wire but it is connected to te yellow wire. I have a 2 stage furnace so im asuming i need the yellow and orange but i need a little direction.

Orange wire connected to yellow wire is rotation.
Brown - capacitor.

You should have Black, White......what else?
Green - Ground to cabinet

Brown -------| Cap |-------------Line
White --------| |

Black - High Speed -------------Cooling
Blue - Med Speed -------------Heat
Red - Low Speed
Do I hook the white wire to th other side of the cap and then to common? can you explain what rotation is and if i need to do anything with the yellow and orange wires?

You need to check blower rotation.

CCW Yellow - Yellow
Orange - Orange

CW Yellow - Orange
Orange -Yellow

You need to connect brown wire to one side of the capacitor and white wire to another side of the capacitor then where to line is or board control.
I dont know if it matters but do I come off another port on the cap and then to line with the white wire or do I pig tail? Also there was no orange with the old motor so where do I hook the new orange. I cant do orange - orange.
