I'm planning to install an Aprilaire 400 humidifier unit and was curious if it's acceptable to install the unit adjacent to the AC coils?

I installed one of these units in our old home with a similar furnace layout however we had more room at the top so I was able to install the humidifier unit up there and put the bypass duct at the bottom by the AC coils. This installation I'm pondering would be the opposite.
Appreciate any input.
