We are planning to retile the shower in the bathroom, but not until this fall. The tile is currently somewhat loose and poorly sealed...and we even pulled a few off to see the condition of the wall.

My sons home from college and wants to use his shower. We want to tape up some plastic over the wall so he can use the shower. The ceiling is tiled too. How can we tape it? Is there a water-resistant tape that will work and hold it up for a few months?

Thanks!

Bud is spot on.. I just discovered that stuff last week.. some $^&@#! knocked off my passenger door mirror, was using duct tape to hold it up temporarily and every time I came out to the car I'd have to reapply... someone suggested Gorilla tape... hasn't budged since! :) I picked up a roll for $3-4 at Home Depot.

Gorilla Brand duct tape is what I remember all duct tape used to be years ago before they started screwing with it and making it cheaper and cheaper. Most all duct tape these days is a miserable excuse for what the product once was. I buy the Gorilla (black) and pay about 8 bucks for a roll of it but it's worth it to me. Super sticky and stays where you put it.:)
