Hello All,

My outdoor faucet is leaking from the handle. I tried to take it apart to see if I can replace the washer but I can't seem to get it off. I took out the screw on the handle, but the handle won't come off. I also loosened the nut underneath the handle, but nothing is coming off (see pictures). Am I missing something here?

While you have the packing nut off, get some packing at any big box store and re-pack it around the threads, tighten packing nut back down (don't over-tighten), screw handle back on and see if it stopped the leak. If not, tighten packing nut a little more till leak stops.

That valve still looks in good shape and will propbaly outlast you. But when it's time for a replacement valve go with frost free hose bib. Just a suggestion.
