I', having a hard time finding a way to screw the woods together securely. i literally stood at home depot looking at all the brackets for 20mins and came home with all the wrong ones. anyone have a pic of bracket i can use?

it's redish not so tough 2x4s. pre-drilling won't be an issue. i also liked ron's idea of having a 2x4 as top plate as i can drill from top an below to resolve that issue. however since it's a very low basement, clearance will be an issue so i'll have to play with height once my barn door track has arrived to determine the final solution. thanks much for the help.
