My living room slab has a crack that's about 7 or 8 ft long, some part of it is about 1/8" wide and it gets narrower. pls see attached. what should I use to repair it? I'll be putting tiles on top of it. Thanks

it starts at the foundation but that part has been addressed already by a foundation company, now I just need to repair the part that goes from after the pressure-treated face plate to the middle of the room.

As long as the reason for the crack has been addressed, any of the commercially available crack repair kits will work. In this case, even some thinset leveled into the crack for the backfill would probably do the trick.

An easy no-mess repair is to use the crack filler that comes in a tube, like caulk. There are many brands and formulas. One example:

so YOU're the guy who fills cracks like that ? its not even crack sealing ! i've often wondered who was butchering driveway crks,,, perfect example of the right material used improperly impo

inside your conc won't change dimension as temps are be fairly constant,,, outside is an entirely different set of influencies - slab dimension, joint pattern, sub-base prep, thickness, etc,,, inside just fill the crk - probably just as wash posted will work fine.
