Should I buy a sander to remove the primer from the kitchen cabinets? Messed up real bad. It has been a year the cabinets looking the way they are-dark grey primer; has been living with them for a year and want to do something about it. I want to sand off the primer instead of using some sort of chemical to peel the primer off. Should I spend $60 to buy a sander to remove the primer?
No need to remove it if it's not adhering or something strange. You will need to clean the again and again as they have been exposed to stuff in the kitchen for a long period of time. When I did my kitchen cabinets we were without a decent kitchen for a couple of months.
Take you time, get good paint from a paint store and go slow and have fun!
