There are multiple cracks in the ceiling but my main concern is replicating the texture which is on every ceiling in the house.
Any insight is welcome!

in the photo on the right it almost looks as if the wall was repaired before and the repair cracked again. There are multiple cracks in the ceiling but my main concern is replicating the texture which is on every ceiling in the house.Any insight is welcome!
That is certainly not the consensus. Some of us texture because we like it and not to hide anything. Who wants a smooth wall or ceiling?
you're nuts, slick is elegant and most every homeowner wants elegant. Finishing slick ceilings sucks because of sanding and extra coats of mud...the reason for texture is labor cost. Some of us texture because we like it and not to hide anything. Who wants a smooth wall or ceiling?
