The biggest argument against homemade chains is you have no idea of the safe working load or breaking point.

If the chain is purely decorative or only loaded to a fraction of its perceived strength it isn’t a problem. But I would never load one up or put it to use under dynamic loads. Nor would I ever use one when all or part of the load is human.

Safety first.

My needle nose w/tape over the jaws are calling everyone they know ie: lineman, 6" channel locks, pliers, informing them of the approaching doom, and making funeral plans. :vs_OMG::vs_OMG: They watched the video with me. I'm cleaning up the tears now, it's torrent.........:biggrin2: How deep should I dig the graves guys n gals ?? :vs_laugh::vs_laugh:
