I am new to the Nevada area and need to know what equipment I need to create a firebreak.
I have 5 acres of flat DRY land and need to remove sagebrush along with tall dry weeds. I cannot use a lawn mower because the heat can start a fire. My weed eater is too heavy and difficult given I have a shoulder injury and a massive amount of over grown space to cut down.
I was thinking of renting a something to get the growth down. I need to do a 100ft clearance around the house & garage... that covers about 2 acres of my property...
Grading? dozing? anyone know what I can use to clear this space?
