Hello all,
I am a bit of a noob at this, I'll try my best to describe the situation/problem. We are currently in the process of replacing our current roof. After tearing up the old roof, we noticed that there is a bit of damage which resides along the area where the roof meets a stucco wall, I am told that I should use some sort of flashing. Since the roof is fairly old, when it was originally built, there wasn't any flashing installed since the materials were not available at the time. I am told I should use an "L" flashing, how would I install this against my stucco wall? I've attached a link below of what I am trying to describe. My stucco wall is not as tall as what is seen in the image below, the roof kind of drops down a bit to another section. I'll try to get some pictures later, but for the time being I hope my description is able to get some help out there.
Thanks for your help in advance
