I'm adding a 48" set of doors to an opening that used to just be open. After getting the doors set in place I've realized the header is warped into the bedroom about 1/2". I know I could just cover it up with trim, but is there any way to fix it w/out replacing it?

If non-bearing, just saw cut 3/4"+ the way through it from the concave side and nail or screw it straight. Add a backer if needed.

Was it load bearing before? With a header in the joist space above?

If you installed it, just replace it. I don't see how you could trim it, going into a room. Even taping the joint to wallboard would expand and contract with the seasons differently, and show. If you are adding a bedroom, please make sure you have egress (escape) from that room out a required window for safety. Be safe, G

It has always been load bearing, the opening has always been there, I'm just putting a set of doors. These doors are going between a bedroom and an existing bathroom that originally had the vanity just open to the bedroom.
