Hello,

I damaged the table, by "scratching" it quite hard with a wrench. I didn't tear the top part that goes over the wood, but it did separate from the wood beneath it.
I don't really know how the top part is called, or what is it, but hopefully you'll get a better idea from the pictures.

I'm not worried about the small holes in the two pictures DSC04329.JPG, and DSC04330.JPG. Those are here just so that you can get a better idea about what the top part is.

Is there a way to fix this?

That sure looks like just a vinyl applied over particle board. (like peel and stick shelving paper.)
Looks to thin to be Formica.

That's what I'm seeing too.Peal it off and apply some new.

What size and shape is the table?
It might be easier / cheaper to remove that material and cover with Laminate/Formica/Arborite.

If last photo shows the edge, and seeing no joint, the cover material must be plastic sheet or maybe even mellamine that is wrapped around the base material. This is not something that can be done diy. Any fix will cost more than the cost of buying another cheap table. If considering formica, it'll be better to just buy another sheet of mdf, build the edge to 1 1/2" with cleats and reattach to the legs. Formica can't be glued to existing cover because the cover does not look stable/permanently attached. Removing the cover may need acetone/paint thinner then repair with filler then sand, etc. Not worth it.
