How can you fix WHAT? You'll need to go up on the roof and see exactly what is leaking. Do you have shingles that blew off? Is there a crack around a roof penetration? Have nails in steel roofing popped up? Etc.
Best to hurry up and fix where ever the leak is, even if just temporary. Waiting will invite mold and/or the ceiling falling apart.
If you can't spot the leak from up in the attic, hire someone.
blue tarps must work good. my neighbor has had them on his house for years. they look really nice too! if possible, get in the attic and look for water marks.

If your room is leaking during a hard rain and you have a fireplace, good chance rain is blowing in under your siding on the chimney. Need to give more information on the house and where the leak is.
