Hi,

Hoping this is the correct area I'm posting in. I have a buddy who's got a direct vented water heater in his garage to heat the floors. We found out the motor on the inducer burned out. We tried to lookup a replacement motor but can't seem to find anything anywhere. Can someone please help me identify what motor can replace this one? I've attached a photo to the thread. I believe the house if from the 80s, so it can't be older than that. Also, it has an electronic gas valve which tells me it must be within 10 years old give or take a decade ;)

Thank you!
Julian

did you try typing in fasco motor 7021229 lr36496 type u21kb in the google search?

the original may be obsolete but a replacement should be available.

If no luck, contact the manufacture directly and ask them what your best options are. fasco.com. You should be able to find something that will work.
