I have an older 2.5T system and trying to learn what the advertised SEER rating might have been. I think it was manufactured in 1991, made by Tempstar, runs a scroll compressor, model on the condenser unit is CH5030xxxx, and pulls 2500 watts tested out to include the blower unit and condenser.
This works our to an EER of 12.0 which seems rather high IMO for that vintage of unit but was considered a decent heat pump system back in the day.
If there was a number for Tempstar direct, I would just call them, but....:whistling2:
