I would like to know how to connect a plastic 1/4" OD PE pipe for water filter. You can see below the plastic 1/4" OD PE pipe for the water filter, the connection I have now for the old water filter and the water filter I am trying to install.
The 1/4" plastic pipe should connect to the right of the 5/8" nut.
Can you tell me what hardware I need and where I can find it?
Is this plastic pipe reliable or should I find a different water filter?
Thanks

Need a fitting that compresses a nylon gland on the end of the tubing. Trick is to first pressurize the system and then when the connection leaks to tighten the fitting barely enough to stop the dripping. Too tight and the tubing will be constricted and lose pressure.

The fittings should have come with the filter kit. Check the box for a small package of fittings and if not found I would return the kit where you bought it and get a complete one.

See below what the filter included. This would be enough just for one end. Do you know where I could get the same for the other end?
