I have a white colored electric cook top
For some reason one of the four burners has become discolored.
Have tried ceramic stove top cleaner with no success

Is there any way to restore it to its original color??
Thanks for your help

That's ugly and looks like it is happening all over the stove top.
I would send an email to the mfg and ask what they recommend. If anyone knows they should.

I've used baking soda on some of my white baking dishes but it took time. Didn't scrub just soak in a paste.

Let us know.

In the eighties we had one with corning white glass.

Ajax in a paste and an SOS pad and lots of work got it clean and was happy to sell it with the house.

I use oven cleaner and time. Mask it off so the spray does not ruin your counter.

Might not work for you as that looks more a stain than burnt on stuff.

I have a few glasstops I have to clean periodically after no upkeep. So far my best method is just letting the ceramic/glass cleaner dry, then scrape with a razor blade. Takes some elbow grease. Sometimes what looks like discoloration comes off. Also try the vinegar/baking soda trick, and anything else said to work. If the glass has been etched, then it would need polishing by mechanical means.

If you find yourself at wit's end, on many of these the glass top can be replaced, and there may be a black one that can replace it. I replaced it on my parent's Kitchenaid when my dad dropped a pot and chipped the corner of the glass off.
