Just got done looking at properties in silicone valley area(online). Was curious what 7 million will get me. There are some real deals out there. I got to thinking if I call someone for a bid on a new roof I wonder if it would be a reasonable bid?
You could do a house out there in a day. If I was a roofer I would want like 60,000 dollars. Anyone know how it works out there?

You could probably get a decent place that can be fixed up and make your money back. $7 Million for a property that probably costs $1.2 to $3 Million in other areas, the roof is still going to be about the same.
