Hi, New to here.

The house we are purchasing doesn't have HVAC in the hallway bathroom.

Will this affect the resale value? We are at SC, so the temperature in winter is not very low.

If we want to install HVAC ourselves how difficult that would be? How much it will cost if we hire someone to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Your question is a little muddy. I can;t tell if your are talking a bout a single duct to the bathroom or a new system. i f you have no clue then it is as hard as any other project that you have not done.

If you mean a new ac system.
Your ducts have to be the right size and and so. With out an actual layout of your home the difficulty is honestly very hard to judge.

Sorry

If you want to run a single new duct to your bathroom from the existing HVAC system and you have access (eg in attic) to do so, it should run you about $250-$500. If you dont have easy access for the ductwork, I'd say forget it.

Hell, just take a jack hammer to the slab and cut and lay a new run. It's only money:whistling2:
