I will be wiring new three new dedicated circuits: 30, 40, and 50 amp for new kitchen and laundry appliances. I have measured the distance from the load center to respective junction boxes. How much extra cable should I purchase to avoid running short? Given that the heavy gauge cable runs $2-3 per foot I don't want to have too much waste when the job is done. TIA!

I won't give you a hard figure, but something to think about. Five inches too short is much worse than 5' too long. Leave yourself a couple of extra feet as a minimum.
